Entry requirements
Undergraduate
For all courses (with the exception of those listed below) students would usually be required to have completed the Svjedodžba o Maturi/ Svjedodžba o Drzavnoj Maturi - Certificate of State Maturity/ Potvrda o polozenim ispitima drzavne mature with a minimum grade of 3.5 or above. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 4 in that subject will be required.
Please note that international students are unable to enrol onto the Nursing programmes.
International Baccalaureate
Award of Diploma with between 26 and 29 points or above depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 5 or above in HL is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.
European Baccalaureate
Pass with between 60 and 70% depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then 70% is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.
Students from Azerbaijan would generally be required to complete an International Foundation Programme to be considered for entry to year one of our bachelor courses.
Postgraduate
Students are required to have Baccalaureus / Baccalaurea (Bachelor degree) OR Diploma Visoko Obrazovanje / Diplomirani (Advanced Diploma of Higher Education) which is equivalent to a British Bachelor (Honours) degree standard at a grade of 3.0/5.0 (dobar/good) or above (2:2) or 4.0/5.0 (vrlo dobar/very good) or above (2:1).
Students with Diploma Više Obrazovanje (Diploma of Higher Education) (Higher National Diploma (HND) standard) may also be considered but would require 5 years’ work experience.
English language
Students from Croatia are required to have obtained English at grade 4. Alternatively, you can sit an English language test to gain entry to the University.
