Entry requirements
Undergraduate
For all courses students would usually be required to have completed the Vysvedcenie o maturitnej skuske (Secondary School leaving Certificate) with four subjects at grade 3 or above. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 3 in that subject will be required.
Please note that international students are unable to enrol onto the Nursing programmes.
International Baccalaureate
Award of Diploma with between 26 and 29 points or above depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 5 or above in HL is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.
European Baccalaureate
Pass with between 60 and 70% depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher than 70% is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.
Postgraduate
A Bakalár (Bachelor degree - from 2005 onwards) would be equivalent to a British Bachelor (Honours) degree standard and requires a grade of 2.0/4.0 (C / Good/ average achievements) or above (2:2) or 1.5/4.0 (very good) or above (2:1).
English language
Students are required to sit an English language test to gain entry to the University.
