Entry requirements, scholarships and keeping in touch for students from Ukraine.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate

You will generally be required to complete an international foundation programme to be considered for entry to year one of our bachelor courses.

If you think you might need to complete a foundation or pathway programme, please contact the International Team to discuss your options at international@napier.ac.uk

Postgraduate

You will be eligible to apply if you have gained a Bachelor / Specialist Diploma with 7.0/12.0 or 3.0/5.0 or above.

English language

You are required to sit an English language test to gain entry to the University.

Find the approved English tests and scores we accept on our English Language Requirements page.

We also offer various pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who have test results below the programme requirement.

Some courses may require a higher English language score. Please search for the course you're interested in to find out more.

Support for students applying from Ukraine

We are shocked and saddened by recent events in Ukraine and remain extremely concerned by the continuing situation.

We are very pleased to confirm that students from Ukraine are eligible to enter under the Ukraine Family Scheme and the Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme (Homes for Ukraine). In applying through these schemes, you would be assessed as a Home student for fee purposes.

You can learn more about the schemes by clicking on the links below:

Undergraduate entry

In applying through these schemes, you would be assessed as a Home student for fee purposes. This would enable you to apply to the Scottish Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) for free tuition fee funding and living cost support.

To apply for a full-time undergraduate course, you must make your application through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You can view our courses here.

If you have further questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with Undergraduate Admissions.

Postgraduate entry

In applying through these schemes you would be eligible for the reduced 'Home' full-time postgraduate tuition fee rate and enable you to apply to the Scottish Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) for a tuition fee and living cost loan of up to £10,000.

To apply for a full-time postgraduate course, please find the page for the course you wish to apply for on our website and click the 'Go' button beside 'Apply for September 2022'. You can view our courses here.

If you have further questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with Postgraduate Admissions.

What if I am not eligible for these schemes?

If you are unable to enter on either of these schemes, please look into our International & EU Student Crisis Fund which is designed to help students experiencing financial difficulties.
