Applicant Visit Days are an excellent opportunity for you to find out more about our Biological Sciences courses and make a decision on your Undergraduate offer of study from us.
Applicant Visit Days are invitation-only events which give our offer holders the opportunity to meet staff and students, see the facilities we have to offer and find out more about their chosen course and opportunities beyond the classroom.
Throughout the day, you will be able to meet your innovative lecturers, see the facilities and find out more about student life at Edinburgh Napier University.
We’re proud of our research, learning environment and partnerships. Students studying our Biological Sciences courses have access to a range of specialist scientific equipment and well-equipped laboratories; including molecular biology, biomedicine and medicinal chemistry. Our partnerships and research mean that you have the opportunity to apply the skills you learn in the lab to real world environments, so it’s no surprise that our Biological Sciences courses received 100% student satisfaction in the 2015 National Student Survey. All of our courses are accredited by the Royal Society of Biology, which means that you will graduate with industry-level skills that have been verified by your subject’s professional body – a great way to impress employers.
During this day we will showcase our academic provision, show you round our campus and specialist teaching and research facilities giving you a true sense of what we offer.
Applicant Visit Days are by invitation only, and for those who have received an offer to study with us for an undergraduate degree in 2018 or 2019.
We will notify those who have registered for the event when the programme is available to view online which will allow you time to prepare your visit.
Student Accommodation will not be available to view on the day as our current students will be preparing for Semester exams and assessments. However, we will have Accommodation staff on campus to discuss your new home this September!
Please note that your invitation to this event does not guarantee you a place on your chosen course and you must keep up to date with any decisions that are made regarding your application(s) via Track on the UCAS website.
