Applicant Visit Days are invitation-only events which give our offer holders the opportunity to meet staff and students, see the facilities we have to offer and find out more about their chosen course and opportunities beyond the classroom.
Due to demand we will be running two identical applicant visit day sessions commencing at 10am and 12 noon respectively.
Applicant Visit Days are an excellent opportunity for you to find out more about The Business School, based at our beautiful Craiglockhart campus and make a decision on your Undergraduate offer of study offer from us. During this day we will showcase our academic provision, show you round our campus and specialist teaching and research facilities giving you a true sense of what we offer.
Studying in Edinburgh means studying in Scotland’s commercial, tourism and cultural hub and the world’s Festival City, offering a world of opportunities for work placements, personal development and making connections to further your career.
Our Craiglockhart campus blends historic buildings with a modern approach to teaching. Facilities include 200 and 400 seat lecture theatres, language labs and digital multimedia labs. We are ranked number 1 in Scotland and top 10 in the UK for our Tourism, Hospitality & Events Management courses (Guardian University Guide 2017) and we are the top Scottish Modern University for Marketing (Complete University Guide 2016).
With students from over 140 different countries studying with us, we are proudly international with our courses having a truly global outlook, preparing you for a career in an increasingly globalised world. We also support entrepreneurship amongst our students, encouraging them to apply what they have learned and to start their own business - our business incubator Bright Red Triangle has supported over 300 start-ups already!
Applicant Visit Days are by invitation only, and for those who have received an offer to study with us for an undergraduate degree in 2018 or 2019.
We will notify those who have registered for the event when the programme is available to view online which will allow you time to prepare your visit.
Student Accommodation will not be available to view on the day as our current students will be preparing for Semester exams and assessments. However, we will have Accommodation staff on campus to discuss your new home this September!
Please note that your invitation to this event does not guarantee you a place on your chosen course and you must keep up to date with any decisions that are made regarding your application(s) via Track on the UCAS website.
Please select the session you wish to attend when registering as spaces are limited and given on a first-come-first-served basis.
If you are unable to make this date or cannot attend the session you would like to we also have an Applicant Visit Tour on Saturday 28 April.
