This study day is aimed at anyone who has a role in looking after people with Learning Disabilities, from carers to families and healthcare professionals.
This study day will include an overview of nutrition, how we can use food as medicine and how we can support the people we work with to have healthier lives, given the increased prevalence rates of chronic disease in the Learning Disability population group.
The day will be delivered by the Field Lead of the Undergraduate Learning Disability Nurse Programme (a qualified Nutritional Therapist), and two other Nutritional Therapists.
