This theme explores how policies, policymaking processes and governance arrangements can support sustainability transitions and contribute to more inclusive, just and resilient economies and societies. Our research examines how public, private and third-sector organisations can collaborate to design, implement and evaluate effective responses to complex economic, environmental and societal challenges. Key areas include green and digital transitions, institutional capacity-building and public-sector innovation, responsible innovation and sustainable procurement, sustainable enterprise, and policies supporting the development of green skills and competencies. Through engagement with local, regional, national and international stakeholders, the theme aims to generate practical insights that inform policy, strengthen governance and support sustainable change.
