Advice for EU/EEA/Swiss nationals
If you hold a European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) or Swiss passport or national identity card, you do not need immigration permission to study in the United Kingdom.
Airport welcome service
Meet a friendly face when you arrive at Edinburgh Airport on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th January from 7:30am to 7:30pm (UK time).
Meet our ambassadors on arrival
On arrival at Edinburgh Airport our student ambassadors will be there to direct you to a taxi/bus/tram and help you with any questions you may have. Look out for them at the international arrivals area, they will be easily identified in their red Edinburgh Napier 'Student Ambassador' t-shirts or hoodies. If you have booked accommodation, make sure you print off any information you receive and carry this in your hand luggage.
Please note that this is NOT a free service and you will be required to pay transport costs. If you opt to travel by taxi, this cost could be reduced if you are happy to share a taxi with other students going to the same location as you. Our student ambassadors will be able help you with this.
